學佛要發長遠心，這樣你會發現，很多事情的變化你會預先知道。學佛不是你讀一部經就好了，要讀很多年才會慢慢有感覺。我們在佛面前都像小小孩，世間的煩惱、業力是很恐怖的，你能堅持著，不管怎樣都不退轉，非常重要。你不退，你給自己時間，你才有機會體驗佛法，然後加上用功，命運就可以轉變。
When it comes to learning
Buddhadharma , we should make long-term vows. As a result, you will come to
realise that you can predict the future changes. Reciting one Buddhist Sutra is
not enough. Only through many years' perseverance in reciting Buddhist Sutras,
your mind will be gradually awakened. For Buddha, we are like ignorant little
kids. How horrible the worldly afflictions and karma are! It is so important
that you persevere in practicing the dharma and never give up, no matter what
hardship or setbacks confront you. Not withdrawing offers time and an
opportunity for you to experience the Buddhadharma, and with diligence your
destiny will surely be changed.
